Music

LSU Music: The LSU School of Music offers Ensemble Concerts, LSU Student Recitals, LSU Faculty Recitals, and Guest Recitals. Most concerts are free and open to the public.
Theater
LSU Theatre: The LSU College of Music and Drama Arts Department of Theatre offers theatrical productions by LSU students, faculty, and staff.
Swine Palace: As Louisiana’s Premier Professional Theatre, Swine Palace is a non-profit, professional theatrical company, serving the greater Baton Rouge community and supporting the educational mission of the LSU Department of Theatre.
Museums
Andonie Museum: The Andonie Musuem is a tribute to athletics featuring LSU sports and history memorabilia. The museum is located adjacent to the Lod Cook Alumni and Conference Centers.
Hilltop Arboretum: The Hilltop Arboretum is fourteen extraordinarily beautiful acres in Baton Rouge showcasing an extensive collection of Louisiana native trees and shrubs. The Arboretum is located on Highland Road south of LSU.
LSU Museum of Art: Located in the Shaw Center for the Arts in downtown Baton Rouge, the LSU Museum of Art (MOA) manifests the university’s vision to offer the community access to a diverse art collection, changing exhibitions, education programs, and special events.
Louisiana Museum of Natural History at LSU: The Louisiana Museum of Natural History at LSU includes collections such as the LSU Herbarium, the Louisiana State Arthropod Museum, the Palynology Collection, the Mineralogy and Petrology Collections, the Textile and Costume Museum, the Louisiana Geological Survey Log Library and Core Repository, and the LSU Museum of Natural Science.
LSU Museum of Natural Science: The LSU Museum of Natural Science includes collections such as Amphibians and Reptiles, Birds, Fishes, Genetic Resources, Mammals, Vertebrate Paleontology, Microfossils and Invertebrates, and the Anthropological and Ethnological Collections.
Rural Life Museum: The LSU Rural Life Museum displays a collection of tools, utensils, furniture, and farming equipment to preserve and interpret an important part of the state's and nation's rural heritage. Museum sections include Louisiana Folk Architecture, the Artifact Barn, and the Working Plantation.
Textile and Costume Museum: The Textile and Costume Museum displays an exhibition that illustrates the history and uses of commodity bags in the mid-twentieth century.
Programs
LSU Athletics: This site provides everything you need to know about LSU sports including Baseball, Basketball (Men’s’ and Women’s’), Football, Golf (Men’s and Women’s), Gymnastics, Soccer, Softball, Swimming and Diving, Tennis (Men’s and Women’s), Track and Field/Cross Country, and Volleyball.
Campus Life: Campus Life serves as a primary resource for students to find information about campus involvement opportunities. The office provides a wide range of leadership development programs to help students achieve success.
Leisure Classes: The LSU Student Union offers a variety of short course, non-credit leisure classes taught by experienced instructors. Classes are provided for all age groups and are available to LSU students, faculty, staff, and the general public.
LSU Agricultural Center: The LSU Agricultural Center hosts and promotes a variety of programs in the areas of lawn and garden, family and home, livestock, money and business, food and health, community, environment and natural resources, and kids, teens, and 4-H through its LSU Baton Rouge campus location as well as extension offices around the state.
LSU Student Union: The LSU Student Union serve students, faculty, staff, alumni and guests as the community center of the campus by providing a comprehensive program of cultural, educational, social, recreational and service activities. The LSU Union includes an art gallery, a theater, a barber shop, a bookstore, a credit union, a cable services kiosk, a frame shop, several programming units, and a variety of dining options. Many events sponsored by the LSU Student Union are open to the general public.
Speakers
Chancellor’s Distinguished Lectureship Series: The Chancellor’s Distinguished Lectureship Series (CDLS) is a multi-part lecture series intended to enhance the intellectual vitality of LSU and to allow the university to showcase faculty, students, research programs, and eminent leaders in interdisciplinary areas.
MBA Distinguished Speaker Series: Through the Flores MBA Program, the speaker series exposes attendees to the latest ideas and forces that are shaping American and international business with executives who are facing these issues daily. Lectures are open to the public.
Recreation
LSU Golf Course: The LSU Golf Course is a full-service 18-hole course open to LSU students, faculty, staff, and the general public.
Adventure Education: Whether participating in our exciting Challenge Program, checking out our camping equipment, scaling the wall at our climbing gym, or attending a climbing workshop, Adventure Recreation, a program of University Recreation, offers you numerous opportunities for outdoor fun. Adventure Recreation is located at the Sport and Adventure Complex with an outdoor rental center equipped with camping equipment, including canoes and kayaks, for all your outdoor needs.
